Morning All!

That fingerprint thing would drive me crazy being the anally retentive kinda chick that I am Sao haha! Wow, you're quite close to the financial district, great shot!

Are you seeing Andy today MB? Is he still firmly "not a date"? Tell me to mind my own business if I am being nosey lol (although I am sure you are no shrinking voilet and will bop me on the nose if I am being cheeky)

That photo thing is weird! On my iphone it shows the right way up on James post and I wondered if you were all a bit puddled going on about it being on it's side...but now I am on my laptop I see what you mean! Great pic

Nice day in the north of UK albeit very breezy and the wind is quite cold. The cat is out in the field stalking small creatures and having a whale of a time so it gets him out of my hair for the morning. I have my online recovery video meeting with the Thai rehab at 9am which I really look forward to every week. There are a few of us that always join and others dip in and out and it's like a real little recovery family. Set's me up for the day and keeps my head straight. This morning I am going to start making my juices for next week. I picked some of the recipies that I feel like my body needs so I can get a good shot of vitimins down me. I have a cupboard of small bottles with lids (bit like the old milk bottles you used to get at school for the UK people if they are old enough to remember free milk lol) and I batch up the juices and then put them in the freezer. That way I can just take the next day's juices out at bedtime and not have to faff around every day. My fav's are Ginger Root, Celery, Kale, Apple and broccolli as a morning shot and the other fav is Beetroot, Carrot, Orange, Ginger Root.

Anyhow people, gotta make a brew for my 9am. Another wonderful sober morning, never gets old!! xx

Enjoy your online meeting, Manta.

Your juicing routine sounds so sophisticated. Maybe I can do it too when I grow up)

I wonder, why did you call the "not a date" Andy? Is it some British slang?

I checked in Urban dictionary and that's what I got:

"One who has a fiery temper and no tolerance for BS
Who also keeps their emotions inside until needed then its a nuclear explosion.
A good friend but will insult you if he feels like it."

I surely hope he is not that kind of Andy

And he is not firmly "not a date" any longer. It's complicated for me. First I couldn't imagine him being more than a friend. And he is surely "not my type".

But over the time I got to know him somewhat better and grew to like him.

So I really don't know should it be "Hell Yes or Hell No" kind of thing it or it's worth giving it more time to see where it's going.

Anyway, going to enjoy my day today)

Maybe it's an iPhone thing as the photo was taken on my iPhone.

I must be going loopy in my old age MB! I thought for some reason you called him Andy before but I must have dreamed it! Oh well, least I know he is not called Andy now!! Time will tell if he is a Hell Yes or a Hell No but at least for now he's a Hell Maybe and that is good enough. No rush, take it steady xx

OK, off to do my juicing! x

Our local food store has an'Ethnic' section with a British isle, besides Hobnobs (Which are yummy by the way), we can get all sorts of tesco products at three of four times the price. I also notice the store does not stock the Canadian equivilent of many of the echnic products. British style beans for example...

So today is my 28th month-aversary. Celebrating with the special chemical formula EBHbB2 (Eggs, Bacon, Hash browns and British style beans.).

Hi Midnight! Love the photo, Willow! Glad I woke up early (and sober) at 5:00am Sunday morning. It gives me time to read/post on SR while hubby is still snoring I plan on having a more productive day today than yesterday (when I just "chilled" and watched movies). I feel a tiny bit guilty about not doing anything yesterday, but I needed it....so much to do and I was just lacking motivation. Hubby and I had a great day "hanging out", though. Not sure where to start today, but whatever I do, I will be doing it sober! Hang in there everyone!

Nice to see you trudgingagain! Nothing wrong with a chill day

Have fun MB! x

Dragon, Heinz baked beans are the best, the crown jewels on a good English breakfast and it makes me happy if I can find them when I am abroad! I always have to have some black pudding with mine too. Enjoy!

Andy is that your dog being switched on?

I went to my local park today, weather was beautiful for February. It was nice to sit and watch the world go by.

Hi, weekenders.

Manta - Your juices look delicious!

Dragon - Thank you for the pic of the chair. Awesome job - both you and you daughter.

Kaily - Your place is beautiful. I wish I had such a great view.

I am back from my...well it was surely a date. What else can you call it when the guy kisses you.

I have a job interview tomorrow. I need to get my thoughts together and have a good sleep.

One thing at a time)

Evening Weekenders!

Notwithstanding so much going on in SR land, apologies in advance for this post being non-person/s specific. I have been keeping up and am very happy to see that there’s been positive developments for so many of you. Also, that so many of us keep trudging along on our mutual journey.

My little bit of satisfaction consisted tonight of making chili poppers - from home grown jalapeņo chilies. Not saying they would save you in a Master Chef ilimination challenge, but tasty and comforting nonethess.
