30 days for me today

Sober for 30 days now. I would like to say im feeling fantastic but haven't really felt the best physically/mentally since quitting. Maybe it just takes time. That being said no hangovers has been great so that has been an improvement. I have had some real challenging moments but for the most part I think I was/am ready for this change.
Hope everyone is hanging in there!

Congrats on 30 sober days, Mandy!:fireworks2
It gets better and better just give it time!

Congratulations on thirty days! That's terrific and a great accomplishment.
Yes, no more hangovers. I sure don't miss those.
It may take some time to feel the big differences from not drinking, but not drinking is a reward unto itself.

I wish you the best and hope you stick around here.

Well done!

Well done. The only way is up. You may not feel fantastic yet, but you are feeling far better than you would be if you were drinking.

I'm just slightly ahead of you and I've been wondering where the "feeling great" has been as well. It's only in the last few days that I can point to a dramatic improvement in sleep and that's probably the first step. We'll all experience something a little different so I've been trying to be patient, I know feeling great will sneak up on me and I won't notice it until I notice it.
