Mind set

So its been couple of days, and all is well. Think ive said I have a couple of appointments coming up. Which is a move in the right direction. I'm feeling good, strong and positive.
Today im going out for lunch with my ex sister in law. We are still quite close, even though I'm no longer with her brother. I'm thinking of reaching out, so I have some support, a couple of friends are right by my side, but I think the more the merrier to help me along the way.
I haven't decided yet.
The weekend is approaching which sorta fills me with dread, and I'm probably going to bore everyone going on, but i must post before reaching for that bottle etc.
Wishing everyone a lovely day 🙏💖

Wishing you a good day too Doris. It's hard starting over and inserting yourself in the real world, I'm in the same position. Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Just got back in 😀 had a,lovely day, a good ole chat, not about everything but the lines of communication have been opened.
We went to the beach, and did a beach clean. Fresh sea air, productive, clear head, 😇🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌.
Followed by lunch, a few things addressed. So it's all good 💖

Hi Doris - I was so glad to read your upbeat, positive posts. A visit to the beach sounds wonderful. You're making great progress.

I'm glad you had a good day, and yay for cleaning the beach.

For the weekend, it might help to make some specific plans to call someone or to do something that will help to take your mind off drinking.
