Thanks! Honestly, all I am doing each day is trying to get through and make it one more day without drinking. This time around I have decided to take vitamins, drink lots of water, eat whatever I want until I get to a healthy place. When anxiety strikes, take deep breathes until the “buzzing” stops. Today was a low day for me—very sad all day. My family knows I quit, so I am being held accountable for not drinking. Honestly, I’m just surviving at this point.

Have you changed up your routine much? I was very rooted in routine when I drank, so shifting things up helped break some of those associations. Even something as simple as spending more time in a different part of the house, different chair, etc. Bonus if you pick up a new activity that you never did while drinking.

Three weeks sober is great, do what it takes to protect that.
