Still sober, and a little bit of a funk and emotions are all over the place, but I think this is part of the process, brain rewiring and such.

I have started working the steps in AA, currently on 4. I'm glad I dropped my stigma of thinking it was like a cult. The people seem to really care, and my sponsor I can really relate to.

I have also had my assessment at the local addiction center, and have started that process.

I still have all the determination to grow just in a bit of a stink, feeling lethargic and depressed but I know it will pass.

Just need some support I guess, and to vent.

Hi Ekohe!
Good on you for Day 22 and all the actions you're making for recovery. I hear that Toronto is a great place to get sober, but I'll bet it's pretty grey there now. Stick close to SR now, and I'm glad to hear you're getting a lot out of AA. SR & AA definitely saved my sobriety & probably sanity.

Congrats on Day 22! The worst part physically is probably over. But it takes a while for emotions to balance out. Give it time. It will pass. Just don’t look back and keep moving forward!
