There's Still A Seat For Me...
I was very active on this forum a few years ago when I was really giving my sobriety a go. Well the last three years have been absolute torture. I'm not even sure where to begin...
I absolutely HATE this disease. I have been doing a lot of self reflecting and sometimes I think back to before I was actively drinking and want to be that person again (knowing what I know now).
I say all of that to say, I'm back and I'm glad that there's always a place for me here. I have always felt the support and compassion from all of you.
- Hospitalized for pancreatitis
- Multiple visits to ER for medical detox
- Six month inpatient rehab where I got kicked out for drinking
- 60-day inpatient rehab completed successfully
- Drank again on day 89
- Ten days sober today

Welcome back! I joined this site in 2012, and had my last drink12- 31-15, it has been one of my greatest supports. You should join the January 2019 class, and also the 24 hour recovery thread, both will be great supports.
