Bit of a selfish question
I was heavy drinker for about 5 years about 30 units a day sometimes more rarely less, quit drinking 15 months ago, anyone Drink like this and are okay? I am male And 25( 24 when I quit).
I suffer from steatorrhea had ct, ultrasound, colonoscopy and my gastro says she doesn't think it my liver but I still do. Anyone's only symptom of cirrhosis just been steatorhea

its kind of a 'how long is a piece of string' kind of question - I know guys who drank more than me with no discernible long term effects and others who drank less than me who are dead.
I probably drank more than you did - certainly for the last decade - no steatorrhea, no apparent liver problems.
If you are not sure you trust your doctor then by all means get a second opinion but the livers pretty hardy - it can bounce back really well if we stop abusing it.
For this problem to be ongoing after 15 months maybe your docs right and it's not your lIver?
