I know that in early recovery we are much closer to our feelings and emotions than we are when we are under the booze blanket. This can be really uncomfortable but the intensity does reduce once we have some sober time of course we do need to feel things like fear, even though we'd rather not, in order to avoid harm.

Snufkin I just read your post, I'm really sorry for you about what happened.. It doesn't sound to me like it was consensual hun.. I know many times I said yes just because I thought that's what I should've done and others I said yes and it felt like rape but how do you say no when you already said yes.

Hello dear Friends, I’m doing much better now. Sorry for not being able to post - I just couldn’t, I was feeling so depressed I could barely get myself out of bed...
Well, I’m a little more hopeful now, although I’m still not entirely sure what to do next. I really need to get a job, but I’m so scared and unmotivated I find it hard to do anything, every single little task is just ugh. Too much.

Hi honey....are you going back to the good psychologist that you told me about? And isn't she free for you? You do need to talk to someone love....I am just proud of you for getting out of bed.
I am on Skype....and we are all here.
SO....maybe call the lovely psych lady and make an appt and maybe reschedule the interviews from last week....hopefully you were able to tell them you had been in an accident and needed to recover.
