Sorry that happened Snuf, I would also agree with considering the police. I'm not sure anyone really can "consent" to being beaten up and punched in the face by someone they're sleeping with while wasted. I mean maybe but.. not really. If he's done it to you he's probably done it before and/or will do it again to someone else. I let a lot of things slide because I didn't want to jeopardize someone else's future (by reporting anything) when really it was "all my own fault". Then I continued to drink at those resentments for years to come. It's trauma regardless of how or why it happened, please take good care of yourself and seek the help you need.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was already advised by a friend to report this guy, but I could never do it. I’m sorry... I have no doubts he crossed the line, but I’m still too confused about what happened, half of it I don’t even remember.

Feeling like crap today - still very sore, I also got a throat infection, 40 degrees fever and I’m dying in bed.

Sigh. Hopefully it’s my life’s lowest moment and I can move on.

As long as your friend took photos as we talked about and you saw a doctor you can report it if you choose to. Right now, first things first baby....we need to get your fever down.

Please wet a facewasher in cold water and put it on your forehead and please consider going back to the doctor.
