Weekender Thread 7th -10th December2018
Hi There!
I'd like to welcome anyone new to SR and new to this thread.
Weekends can be a tough time - especially holiday weekends -and that's what this thread is about - support.
We also share bits and pieces of our lives and the things that are important to us, or make us laugh..anything that makes the journey a little easier
If you've never jumped into a weekender thread before - no time like today...do it now!

Hi classmates!!
Usually don’t see me around this time it’s about five till three in the morning for me sleepless night.
I’m afraid to go to sleep I must be up in an hour and a half and drive to Milwaukee to the airport.
I’m visiting my sister and her husband who are raging alcoholic’s. She has already ordered me my non-alcoholic ginger beer and I plan on taking a lot of walks. I also plan on seeing my friend who doesn’t really drink about two hours south of her Tuesday through Thursday and I return back Friday morning the 14th .
I’ll be checking in here often to make sure I stay on track

Safe travels Free, and good Friday morning everyone.
A predawn cuppa in bed is a good way to start this alcohol-free weekend. If I had some warm cake I would eat it too, but for now I’ll stick with black coffee.
Wishing everyone a good day.

Dog got me up at 3:30am to go out. Didn't really get back to sleep until the alarm went off. Keep safe Free, have a good trip.
Yay Friday. Boo, tomorrow is my last Ukulele class this year. I pick it up again at the end of February in the new year. Sunday is another Strum and I think Tuesday is Jam night, so lot's of Ukuleleing to look forward too.

Dragon - Yesterday I listened to instrumental versions of Guts over Fear (originally by Eminem and Sia) and there was an Ukulele version by Ukulele Boys! I wanted to find it on Youtube but didn't succeed (I listen music on Deezer platform.) It's a shame because I wanted to share it with you.
I've just discovered that there is the fourth season of the Bridge (Bron/Broen)! Wow. The holidays came early).

Belated congratulations on your milestone MLD. Well done you.
Sao, your trip to the far north of Scotland earlier this year sparked my interest in a visit up to Orkney and Shetlands. A great price on a flight into Inverness came up but alas I missed my opportunity to book. Was for early April though so maybe still too cold for this southerner. Northern tip of Skye is as far north on this globe as I’ve been and what a magnificent place it was. Quiraing hike it was. And was rather good weather in early September.
