Day 130
hi all. Struggled a bit more then usual last weekend and again yesterday, my AV going you v been so good for last few months "you deserve to get out and drink over Xmas " . I know i won't drink , I know exactly how it will go if I do. What s really draining my resolve is Paws , it's seems like it's going on forever, i know it will go , for once in my life I'll have to be patient. Any way got all that off my chest thanks for reading. Best wishes to all .
Hang in there Kid50! It's day 128 for me and I know how you're feeling. I've found quitting to be relatively easy so far (well in comparison to trying to moderate) but I know it will be tough when I fly back to England for Christmas and am among family. I think it will be less about me needing to drink and more about family not understanding that I cannot drink. I've told them I quit, but didn't give reasons. My mum's response was 'Well you don't have to quit entirely. A drink now and then does no harm!' She very very rarely gets even slightly tipsy, but she's always been a firm believer in a glass of red a day having health benefits haha.
I'm not looking forward to it, but I believe we can both do this!

Kid50, hang in there. It took a very long time for me to feel well. I felt better most of the time by three-four months, but not great. It was nearly a year for me, and I was spot on with nutrition, sleep and exercise. Just lucky I guess. One day around nine months or so I just thought, "Hm. So - I kind of feel like I did when I was 11. Before the drink got me."
It's worth it. SO MUCH worth it.
