Me too. I love that song.

Make the sacrifice
take it all the way
There's no "won't" high enough
to stop this desperate day
Don't take death away
cut the finger at the joint
Cut the stallion at his mount
and stuff it in his mouth

That could be you too man. I remember after about 2 months sober going to a grocery store on a Saturday morning (instead of passed out at home). Thought, wow, so this is what it’s like on the other side. Am I in a new secret club now of normal productive people? Just thought it was wild. Was so happy (still much happier than when drinking). Seems so silly, but I guess it’s that I got back the ability to get enjoyment from the little things.

Good morning Blue Mask. Getting past Lou Reed and back to drinking. The term "Alcoholic" or not really does not matter that much IMO. Anyone who drinks 15 standards a day is simply putting their health at severe risk. Your body can't take that kind of a daily beating for too much longer. I hope you choose to quit.

Yea you’re right, the blue mask, that’s just a cover, right. My cover. Something to hide behind to come in. The reason is obvious. I can’t stop on my own. Waking up at 3 in the morning, vouing it’s over never works.
