Day 1 again

Hi all been a long time sober but ended up drinking all day Saturday and Sunday and am so angry with myself. I ended up taking vallium aswell so have no memory of what i done or said so my anxiety is sky high just now. I managed to make my work today so atleast I'm not in trouble that way but I feel like iv ruined all my time sober and let everyone down. I should have seen the signs I was going to lapse but guess I chose to ignore them

Alex, I'm sorry you relapsed, but it's good that you are choosing to get back on track today. As you said, you knew a relapse was coming, so you have learned this, and next time you can be prepared.

Hey alex

welcome back. Dont beat yourself up too hars dust yourself off and start again. Have a plan, use SR to your best advantage. Post often if needed, especially when you feel like giving up. You dont nees to feel like this again. Stick around.

You guys need to form a strong November 2018 Class!
It really helps...I am still part of the December 2017 Class and we supported eachother for 11 months! Next month we will celebrate! It is a tremendous help!

Everyone dust yourself off and get back at it. Identify the triggers what happened before you picked up . Change things up. If I can do this you can.

I chose to ignore them

Hopefully you can learn from this and have sustained success this time. Wish you the best,

Alex - It's good you wanted to post about what happened. You're facing it and taking action - well done.

No sober time is wasted. You realised what has happened, put the slip behind you and move on with your sober life. Guilt will not do any good.

Alex,

What were the signs for you?

Maybe I/someone am/is experiencing them and you can save us from a relapse.

Thanks.
