It gets easier

18 weeks today and I can honestly report the longer I am stopped the easier it becomes not drinking. So if finding it tough at start it will get easier.

Congrats! Way to go! Glad to hear it gets easier. I remember it getting easier at some point in my one 11month run of sobriety...this time I just have to figure out how to make it past 11months. Reading your post here helped me.

That's fantastic!! Congratulations. The not drinking part does get easier although it seems insurmountable at first (or did to me). Well done!

It does honestly, it starts to feel normal with zero effort.

I've really appreciated the thoughtful approach you've taken to this.

Congrats on 18 weeks. The sober days really pile up quick don't they?

Booze, who needs it.
