Thanks hadenuff and Michael--

It really means a lot to read the posts from others. In the past I wouldn't have posted my 30 days and at the beginning I was even hesitant to count days. What if I failed... AGAIN?!? Well, I decided to do things differently this time. I decided that my sobriety date MEANS something because, this time, I am working the steps with a sponsor, going to meetings and emersing myself in recovery every day, 24 hours at a time. I'm still scared of failing, but I'm even more scared of not trying. So, I am counting those days and I will allow myself to be cautiously optomistic, just for today.

Thanks for your support everyone. I can't express how much it means to me.

I feel exactly the same - The support means so much and I pray that I will get my 30 too!!!! Hurrah for you - One Day at a Time!!!!! Emersing is the only solution - I think that perhaps it is actually healthy to be scared of failing as that prevents the Devil of complacency and we all know where that can lead.
