Day 2
Glad to have you here. Remember, you never have to feel this way again. If you don't take that first drink.
A sober lifestyle is healthy all by itself. Throw in some proper nutrition, which I avoided for twenty years, and a little exercise and you'll be given another chance.
Something we don't always get in life.

Day 3
Still too sick to work today. I read the posts here and cry. I feel like a helpless baby but today my illness has finally became manageable and once I’m up out of this bed I’m going to be unstoppable.

Hey jc. How are you feeling today?
Thank you for commenting on my post.
There is HOPE. I promise you. I am living proof.
I couldn't stop drinking. I have been trying for about 6 years. Since my daughter was 1 years old. She is now 6. It all came to a head 6 months ago, you can read my first post here called Powerless. It tells what happened to me.
It is hard I am not going to lie. Some days I want to drink so bad (although they are getting fewer and fad between). I have been in my kitchen screaming at God please please do not let me pick up a drink! Crazy woman haha. But I can't knock it. It worked. I didn't pick up lol.
I have realised that putting the drink down is just the beginning FOR ME. I am in AA. AA has quite literally saved my life. I need a new way to live and am finding it though the fellowship and through the 12 steps.
Make this the last time you ever feel this way. You honestly never have to feel this bad again. There is life after alcohol and a much better one at that.
Please feel free to pm me of you ever need to and look after yourself these first few days. They are brutal, I know, I have lived them many times.
much love to you x x
