just dropping by
Just wanting to say hi to everybody and hope everybody is doing fine. As for me, I am doing fine. Been real busy with work, working out and many doctor's appointments. You would think I would have one foot in the grave with all the doctor appointments. Most of it is minor, such as cataract surgery, a check up with my EMT doctor for allergers, and several appointments to check on possible prostrate problems. Got great news that my colon was fine, no sign of cancer. John

Glad you're doing well. You just reminded me I forgot to call the eye doctor today to schedule my yearly exam. Guess I'll do it Monday.
I told you the cataract surgery is wonderful. My vision is so much better since mine four years ago.

Drinking some but not much. A few beers here and there. Just don't have the time. Got to be clear headed to deal with everything. I can see the day coming that I just don't bother with even a few beers. It's no longer a craving anymore, just a habit I need to break. I think the last time I was drunk was last June. I've also cut down on smoking cigs. Don't smoke in the morning anymore. Got tired of kids getting on me about smelling smoke. And I never drink the day before work. Don't want to go to the gym smelling of smoke or alcohol or doctor's appointments. Just don't see the point of having a few beers or smoking. Just a routine I've gotten used to. I think the day is coming soon where I will wake up and just be done with both addictions. It wouldn't be that hard to do at this point. Maybe I'm just ready where I wasn't ready before. John

Also, schools are putting me on their preferred sub list of subs they will call first if they need a sub. Must be cause of the changes I've been making. I've also been real mellow lately. Rarely need to take my anxiety meds anymore. John
