Prayers Willow
LHW- the fat and crud on the BBQ means it will not rust. It is meant to stay there, that way next time it is used- it will catch fire and turn all the meat black. I am sorry, but that is BBQ law.

Morning, weekenders.
Yes, it's my soberversary today - 6 years sober.
Not sure how to celebrate - maybe, get back to the gym after my hand-cutting accident.
Need more coffee.
See you)

Whoa! Flooding is a big deal. I hope the damage was only minor tekink. I guess they are uncommon in Phoenix.
Well done Willow!
I'm another fan of Bruge though sadly it's another town I have been drunk in (it's a long list)
Thank you, I am actually used to it. In 1989 I was offered a series 1 Iso Grifo (one of the world's best cars) for £5,000, I did not have the money at the time but I should have borrowed it, they sell for US $350,000 plus now.
HAPPY 6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY MidnightBlue!

LoveHateWine, I think I speak for many of my countrymen when I say mothballing a barbecue for the winter is sacrilege Admittedly, our winters might be a bit more temperate yours.
tekink, glad you guys could sort things out. I have often been reminded that a happy wife is a happy life
We had our first decent summer rainfall, about 45mm since yesterday evening. The rainy weather sure adds even more peace and contentment to waking up fresh and well rested on a Sunday morning.

Morning, Sao!
Thank you for the beautiful pic.
In Bruges has been on my watching list for a while. Look like it's a great moment to watch it.
Ok, I am going to give the gym a try and pull this stunt with wrapping my hand into plastic food wrap.
See you )

Huge congrats to Willow and MB! Great job with standing up the AV too Willow!
LHW - I binge watched Hill House yesterday on Netflix, was quite good and very spooky. Good for halloween! I have read handmades tale and watched the 80's TV movie but couldn't get on with the new series for some reason. Great read though.
Glad everything got sorted at home tekink!
It's a very grey and dreary morning here in the north UK, had storms and lashing rain all day yesterday. Hopefully it'll stay dry today so I can get out for a walk. Grr, as long as it has taken me to type that it's started raining haha! Oh well, plenty to do in the house I guess.
Happy sober Sunday weekenders! x

Thank you for congrats, weekenders.
1 hours of elliptical machine +abs done.
The hand survived shower.
I think Bim asked for picture)
Now, more coffee and finally delayed breakfast which would be more of a lunch already.
And then I will go with the flow.

Thank you, Purple.
Yes, I feel much better now.
Though a little bit in low part of the emotional spectrum, but it will pass. It's just a part of emotional weather.
Eggs with champignions and tomatoes should move the emotional needle a little bit higher)

Happy Sunday, weekenders! Challenging weekend with several social events that could have gone badly, but I've sailed through somehow! One more tonight, but I have a plan and pretty strong willpower in place.
Go Willow! Glad things are better at home, Tekink. Loved your Hulk gif, Mike. I'm so intrigued by your step into your next uncertainty, Midnight, keep us posted. Hello Manta, Ayers, LHW, Bimini, Gilmer, Purp (boo!), Pilip, Phoenix, Snazzy, Sao, and everyone I'm thinking of this morning …

Thank you, Mark and Zoey.
I am 25 minutes into In Bruges and love the movie. Never thought about Colin Farrel as a comedy actor before, but he is doing a great job so far.

MB, you just made me laugh.
I just use bread bags and masking tape, but your way looks stylish.
Sunday. My favorite day. I'll listen to my online spiritual teaching this morning and make some breakfast and maybe the sun will be up by then.
Great to read all the posts about normal life, normal thinking and ukeleles. Always the ukeleles.
When I was in about second grade I had one and we had a Christmas musical thing that the school kids did for the parents. We all played little instruments, I think there were a dozen or so of us with ukes. Of course all I did was pretend to know what I was doing, but it was a fun thing in the bandshell at the school with all the parents.
