Hi there Pilipili.

You’ve picked a wonderfully supportive place to hang out for the weekend.

I’ve never been to Belgium, so I admit that when I think about the country the first two things that come to my mind are Belgian waffles and Brussels sprouts.

I prefer to think about the waffles. Several of them. With Vermont maple syrup. And a side of bacon.

My ex is from Belgium, his dad lived in Chatelet

My son had his first street escargot and we all had waffles and fries. The best thing was a naked bicyclist parade in June of that year.

Welcome pillipe

We have a naked bicycle parade here in Seattle every year, I think around the Spring Equinox.

Be careful if you Google that.

Beautiful Fall day here - just gorgeous. I walked at the beach and enjoyed the tree foliage.

See you all tomorrow.

Naked bicycle parades!

A rather cheeky thing to do imo. A pun there too.

So off to dinner with a couple of friends. A juicy steak filet it’ll be for my once a week or so red meat treat. Not sure if they’ll drink but gonna enjoy my sobriety either way.

Welcome to Weekenders Startingagain and Pilipiki1! The weekend is the hardest part of the week to stay sober but definitely the most rewarding.

You life is way too good to be drinking VMan, your too stronger than it is.

That's great news about Dale, I didn't realise he was quitting smokes as well, that must be tough. I reminded be that sometime this month - probably the 1st but i'm not certain - it will be 30 years since I last smoked. The best thing about that is that I never entertain thoughts of smoking at all, not even when I became alcohollic.

We had a naked bike ride here in Winnipeg once. I think in 2014? They realized it's too damm cold here and could never get another one organized.

Thank you!

I am trying something different... I am making Friday my "Day 1" instead of a Sunday or Monday. I am going to stare the weekend in the face and make it my b*tch!!!
