Tyne, 100 days is amazing! I'm so proud of you!
LHW, you made such a good decision. That's my toughest moment … driving by the store or the restaurant, and no one will know if I slip. You were so thoughtful.
Bimini, I'm an early riser too, and love the quiet mornings before the sun is up.
VMan, I love that pic! I miss when my kids were that age.
Hi Gilmer, Sao, ST, Mark, Manta, Elisa, Caramel, Hawkeye, Dee. Wishing us all a sober Tuesday!

In a training session all day.
Not much time to read posts.
Hello to all and stay focused on your recovery.
Later weekenders.
V.

I survived the weekend for 20 months now. Saturday was rough but the weekend was smooth. The weekend was too short though, it's going to be a long week this week Friday is going to be nuts and I'm getting a little stressed about heading into the drinking season. Halloween planning has been in the works, I'm looking forward to Jan 1st.

Got all the organic veg arriving in an hour for my first week of my 28 day juice fast!
MantaLady - I would love to do something like that.
Juiced whole fruits/veges feel so wholesome and nourishing.
Thinking about it reminds me of the seaside town where I go for holidays, and there is a juice-bar close by, where I can buy a juice after a walk on the beach and feel so healthy!

What kind of juicer do you have?

Hey Caramel! I got a slow masticating juicer as apparently the slower you juice the veg the more nutrients you get out of them. I start the programme tomorrow morning. Start the day with a ginger and apple shot, then for breakfast an apple, spinach, pineapple, cucumber, lime, broccoli, garden peas, avocado with a bit of hemp protein powder juice (I also have the same one for my evening meal. Then at lunch and again early afternoon I will be having an orange, beetroot, carrot, ginger, mint juice.

The fridge is full of what I need for a week and it looks and smells so clean and yummy. Excited to get going! x

Love the pic Vman

Glad you’re still here Zoeydog, mns and anyone else who has picked themselves back up and dusted themselves off. I slipped heaps of times before I finally managed to stop drinking. We’re all in this together and it’s easier with the support of everyone here on SR ❤️

I’m currently on 150 days. Goodness, I just realised, it’s the longest time sober in soooo many years! I’ve been drinking to get drunk since I was 15, so that’s for 35 years. I woke up feeling very ordinary this morning, but now my mood has lifted immeasurably cos I’m super happy about 150 days....!

LHW as I read your story my AV was thinking “ooooohhh yes that sounds sooo lovely, a nice cosybar, a nice wine and a snack” And it’s not even 8am here but my AV was romanticising the scene. I reminded it harshly of the takeaway bottle or 2 that would result and the dreadful hangover that would ensue and it shut up lol.

Manta, please keep us posted on your new developments, I’m intrigued

Have a good day/ night everyone

Evening folks.
It was a pretty hectic day.

I am just home from the SAXON concert in Toulouse. Biff is as good if not better than ever on stage. They are one band that know how to put on a show..

Time to get to bed.
Goodnight weekenders.
