I can sympathies Sou. We have about 650 people and a high avarage employee age. I see young people in the hallway and think thats gotta be someones kid visiting. It seems the turn-over rate is higher with the younger people too, the faces are always changing.

It's rather calm on the weekender today.
Hope everyone is doing good and that you are all just too busy with life to post....

I had a good day. Our neighbors kids were around to talk english for an hour with me and my daughter. At the end we went outside to enjoy the sun and a little football... I was puffing and panting like 5 minutes after running around a little... Bad.!

Hi, weekenders.

Wrapped up the formalities at work and now I am officially free.

I barely slept yesterday, having a headache, so I am going to call it an early night.

Thank you a lot for your support, weekenders!

See you tomorrow.

I’ve just been very busy running around on car trips that do not qualify as vacations, but involve time with extended family. So I’ve been busy during the day, too wiped out to post at night, and without anything really interesting to report the next morning.

I’m glad that this season of your life is over, MB. I think you will really benefit from a few days of tenderness to yourself.

The right thing will unfold.

As Dee always says, “Everything will be OK in the end. If it’s not OK, it’s not the end.”

How are the talks with the psychiatrist going?

Goodnight MB.
I hope you sleep like a baby.

Kathy I am following your activities on the different path. It certainly has been an adventure and (mainly) fun filled path...

Goodnight weekenders.

Sleep well MB--the future is bright now that you're free

Gilmer, don't overdo it--get some rest girl and some quality soak time in the tub.

Make the most of your time between jobs MB, really enjoy it and be very kind to yourself! xx

I am preparing for a 28 day nutrient dense juice fast! No dairy, meat, caffeine and no chewing lol. I’ve been feeling really tired all the time, bloated, lacking energy and generally feeling out of sorts. Did a lot of research about fasting and the benefits so are going to give this a go. I am not a fan of any kind of fad diet and don’t want to do this to loose weight, more to fuel my body properly and give it a break and do a factory reset!

Going to start it next Wednesday, a weeks worth of organic produce arriving on Tuesday and hoping there is enough room in the fridge!

Manta--I've fasted several times for a reset and it works great.

Care to share some details on what you're doing?

I haven't done it in some years and was thinking about trying it again.

I also have bloating, feel tired and low energy and need to do something.

Sure Hawkeye! I am going to follow the Jason Vale "Super Juice Me" programme. This one has 5 juices a day and they are a mix of some just pure juice and some juice and blend mixes (a kind of smoothie). This one seems to have a really wide range of different fruits and vegtables. You also have to do two 30 minute exercise sessions a day. Another good thing with this one is there is also an app where you can watch videos of how to make each juice which for me helps with how big a piece of veg or fruit to use as I can see it, as you know 1 apple can be twice the size of another apple depending on where you get them from. You can also click on the days of the plan and it automatically creates a shopping list you can email to yourself so there is no working out what you need to buy and when. You can buy for a week or just the next 3 days at a time. Got a great deal on a slow masticating juicer too which should be better than a faster one as you can get more nutrients out of the produce this way.

I know that this is going to be a test at times but I really feel that I need to do something different. I have been eating healthy since I got back from rehab a few months ago but it feels time for a proper re-boot. x

Hi everyone
Day 2 of the boozy resort holiday that I had to come on (preboooked prepaid and an “important” celebratory trip) ... Lots of coffee, soda, mocktails, food... and escaping for a walk or rest here and there. The others have accepted that I’m not drinking albeit somewhat reluctantly.... Having fun but will probably have another early night, the drunken slurring repetitive conversations that increase as the day of constant drinking goes on really reminds me why I’m not drinking.

Good morning everyone.

Early nights sound like the way to go Willow. Good that you’re finding ways to enjoy yourself at least a little.

Gym time.

(((((Petals)))))

You're doing terrifically well, Willow. I hope the destination has many bright spots, even if the company is falling a little flat (figuratively if not literally).

Dragon, I am thrilled to death about your daughter's first shift at the new position! I am confident that, even if she doesn't get much sleep tonight, adrenaline will see her through and give her the energy boost she needs! I am praying that she loves it!

VMan, I knew you lived in France, but it never occurred to me you speak French (I'm not the brightest bulb in the lamp!). Somehow I've never stopped to think that we all don't live in the same neighborhood, or town, or state, or country! We just feel so connected!
ST, good luck to your daughter.
Manta, Hawkeye and other fasting friends … I'd make it less than an hour, I fear! Good luck, and keep us posted!
Good luck Petals! And Willow, stay strong … you'll have a better trip and actually remember more of it.
Hi Sao, Gilmer, Mark!
Have a happy Thursday, everyone!
