Why do you want to delete your account? It would be just as easy to not come back to the site. Why cut off a source of support?

Somehow I feel like other people might read the stuff I have wrote and cause them to give up on giving up!

I don't know my head is in a complete mess, going to try really hard and avoid alcohol tonight.

Thanks to everyone that has replied on my posts by the way, their really are some kind souls out there!

please stay. I've been where you have been (like many others here) and it's possible to climb out of the pit. SR has been my main source of strength to do this.

You can't cause anyone to give up anymore than you can cause someone to stay sober. We all make those choices for ourselves. And, you are more than welcome to share any part of your journey with us. That's why we're here. We know this is hard. But, we can do hard things.

everytime I'd 'go away' from here,always led me back to drinking..be it people/places/things...I always drank. Stick around.

I deleted my account I think back in 2013. It took me two years to come back.

Sometimes we trigger people and sometimes we get triggered. But then again, if we are good and true addicts if the sky is blue or grey and the wind blows the right or wrong way is enough of a reason to use.
