Drinking Dream

Monday I reached 1 year of sobriety.
Last night I had a dream that I drank 2 beers and absolutely refused to change my sobriety date because, in my dream, I claimed I did not get drunk.
In my dream, I had no regret about drinking them either since I did not get drunk and because I was able to have 2 and stop.

I am SOOOOOO glad I woke up sober and it was just a dream.

I have NO desire to drink, not even a little amount of anything with alcohol.

Carry on,
DC

Awesome job on a year Dreamcatcher!! Drinking dreams are horrid aren’t they! I had one last night too where I had had a few gulps of a bottle of spirits and could feel the warmth in my chest, then in the dream I woke up and realised I hadn’t dreamt it and that I could still feel the warmth of the spirits and had actually drunk some, I was so upset with myself...then I woke up for real! x

OH NO, a dream within a dream. That doesn't sound pleasant. I am glad you awoke sober! :)
