15 Days Sober

After 2 years sober I had a relapse that was on and off for months and ended with me having an awful detox full of hallucinations that lasted 3 days, fun!

Finally got a bit of my mind back and I found the best way to stay sober is keeping busy and having a routine.

I go-to bed the same time every night and wake up early. I exercise daily and make sure my day is filled with small goals I can accomplish. Even working on a hobby like, Piano, drawing, reading, ect. helps more than I realized.

Being completely honest with people is sometimes difficult for me but it also helps a lot. If you go through life feeling a bit guilty all the time it could be related to a lack of honesty to yourself or others. That was a part of my life for awhile and it helps to free yourself from that.

I've had down days but I try my best not to feed into them and let them pass rather than making one down day into 3 or more.

Anyways, I wish the best of luck to everyone here!
