What is strenght ?
Sharing one's own experiences, STRENGTHS and
hopes in life and recovery. Not by comparing ourselves
with others, but what we use in our own personal
way of life, in our own journeys.
We can draw strength and encouragement when
we listen to others small or large successes/achievements
in their daily life, family, work, school, etc.
Whatever we hear from others can motivate us,
strengthen our own resolves. Our own way of life.
Our own recovery.
If others never shared or talked to us, then
how are we to know what works or not. I
need to know how others deal with everyday
life struggles and new ways to deal with them
to become a healthier, happier, stronger person
inside as well as out.
Each day, I read something from a member.
Their experiences, their strengths and their
hopes that helps me to draw on their energy,
their inner strength, how it works for them
and I say to myself, I like that. If it works for
them, then im willing to try that myself.
In listening to many folks for the yrs, ive
found strength in what they share and has
help me to be strong in my own recovery
life.
For them and you, I am truly grateful
and appreciative. Thank You...!!!!!
