Day 3

Wow. Horrible day.

11 hours as Assistant Manager in a new restaurant. Horrendously busy for hours. Had GM and head chef picking faults. Was a real struggle. Decided at one point that i would be drinking tonight.

However. I gave all the staff a free pint and i had a j2o (a juice basically).

Tomorrow day 4. Should be quieter at work and then Monday day off. So shouldnt be as bad at work.

Anyway i didnt drink. Close call though

Night night all. And hope you're enjoying a happy sober weekend :-)

Good on you for not drinking! That must have been tough, but you made it.
You'll be thanking yourself in the morning.
Best to you and good night.

Glad you decided not to drink.

Well done!
I'm trying to relearn the whole bad day does not need to lead to a drink thing.
They say practice makes perfect, so I'm trying to help myself with a "Great, another bad day - more practice for me" attitude
