Had a discussion with a 12th grader today. For some reason, he decided to talk to me about what is going on with him. I think he just wanted assurance that he was on the right track. Always surprised when this happens but it's pretty cool when it does. He talked about his plans for the future, what he is doing now, including getting a car. Go figure. His grades are good after a bad start, works part time and seems focused on a bright future. Maybe I passed a little of me onto him. The good part of me. Pretty humbling experience. Just shows how you never know how you might make a difference in someone's life. John

I like the saying: To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world. I'm glad you have a good rapport with the students.
