Relapsed after 9 Months. Lost My Job + Fiancee has Cancer
 

Hello , 3rd time around in 30 years. Im 55 and Relapsed back on Beer , Porn and a little Coke. had 9 months. Emailed my work and admitted I relapsed. They came and took my co car. Today my Fiance told me she has Cancer. Dazed and Confused. Stopped both 2 days now. Lost and Alone

I'm sorry for your relapse and for the bad news Last Roll.

Maybe the timing is kind of a weird blessing in disguise - your fiancee might need your full support now?

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I also relapsed after a few years sober and had some losses as a result.

All I know is that if I keep going, I will just continue to lose whatever I have left.

I'm sorry to hear that. With cancer it can be difficult to for patients, friends and family to take in all the information. Do you know more abut your fiance's cancer?

That is quite a lot to deal with LastRoll. You are in my thoughts today. Please stay strong . Alcohol is going to make everything sooo much worse. keep posting !

Appreciate the love big time. i had 11 Year 10 months and 10 days last year. Had a major health scare last Oct . I stopped working it So true it doesnt work if you dont work it. I was and even more so now spiritualy bankrupt. I emailed my work on Monday. Who stuck by me after I got soner again since Jan 1 2018. That I relapsed. No contact since I am getting ready to call my sponsor.

Yes its Leukemia and her blood cells are off the charts. Beautiful Woman inside and out. Here I am sitting here blowing out my job and relapsing. im calling my sponsor and want to go to a meeting. Appreciate it. Thanks

Not sure if I have another sobriety in me 4th time in 31 yrs. I do have my faith and trust in Gods Will not mine. Need to let him take over the wheel. Back of the bus...

Support to you LastRoll. Sorry to hear what you and you fiancé are dealing with. You have such a long time sober.....no reason you cannot do it again.

Hi she went back to dox today. She is very positive (Normy lol with a heart if gold) but we were saying goodnight last night. She told me hold on and she was getting sick. Brutal seeing her this weekend. We do know its a very slow moving type. if thats any solice. We both have all our Faith and Trust in Gods Will. Thanks
