Just popping in on this thread to report: MY UNEMPLOYMENT WAS APPROVED!!!!
Yesterday I received a letter in the mail stating it was approved and I immediately logged on to my bank account and saw that the first deposit had been made, they even back paid for the delay. SUCH a relief.
This is ONLY because I have remained sober. This process has required numerous trips t various offices, all kinds of paperwork and documentation. Had I been drinking I never would have managed to get it together to get to these appointments, track down the documents, calmly accept the roadblocks and go through the steps to correct the situation, etc.
It is not much money but it helps a lot and will give me a little breathing room as I look for another job. It only lasts four months though so a new job is a huge priority right now.
To celebrate my boys and I went out yesterday afternoon to buy their school supplies and books!
School starts Monday so just in time!

I just caught up on your thread, and I'm so glad things are going better. I googled your bike as well, and can definitely see why the boys like it. I'm really glad the unemployment came through, I hope you find a great new job soon.
