Good morning.

Each night, sitting in bed, while checking in with SR, I usually have a big ol' glass of something like san pellegrino mixed with sparkling water. Last night as I was turning off my bed side lamp, I knocked the empty beer glass off my side table. It shattered all over the hard wood floor. It took me nearly an hour to clean up and make sure no shards were hiding anywere.

My excuse for sleeping in....

Zanna, your cat story made me giggle! I have adopted a new boy who is 1 years old and was found in a scrap yard. He is georgous but a bit mental! To tire him out before bedtime I got one of those laser pointers and for 10 mins before bed he chases it around like a total loon, as soon as I pick it up he howls with excitement each night lol. Certainly helps him be less annoying when I get in bed!

It’s absolutely lashing down here in the north of uk and meant to be the same tomorrow so this map reading course in the Lake District tomorrow is going to be more like a bear grylls survival mission! It will also be 90 days sober for me tomorrow too and so excited and chuffed about waking up in the am and be able to say that.

Keep strong weekenders and much love to you all! xx

Hey, even the MesaVille Bunnies are in on the whole Serenity Gig this Morning. Ears back and chillin' while contemplating a lil nosh.

From The Wayback Machine comes this Clip of Bob Seger on Midwestern TV sporting an early Neil Young 'Do. More Cowbell! MesaMate used to see him in Detroit Clubs for $0.50 back then, so his Music has some provenance around here.

Props to all the Folks here powering through the Early Sobriety Days. Even after a couple of Weeks in, things do get remarkably better!

Happy weekend folks.

Not at the football today, but I'm lucky, because my team are on TV. So, I can still see it.

Gilmer - Bob Seger is probably my all time favorite. Had tickets to go see him in Phoenix last year with an ex BF. The ex BF and I broke up prior to that, and I sold the tickets on Stub Hub, and then Bob cancelled the tour due to back surgery so I wouldn't have gone anyway. Hoping to see him next time he comes this way (or I would definitely travel again to see him).

I'll try to check in over the weekend from my phone. Everyone have a great day!
I'm seeing Seger in December! We bought the tickets last year before his surgery, and hung onto them. Happy we did!

I'm also seeing Elton John in February. Super excited for both of them!

Finding the new lesions is a good thing, I think; the chemo cream is finding all of the bad stuff; that is the beauty of this chemo cream - it has no effect at all on normal cells. My hope is to knock out all the bad stuff!

My dermatologist wants me to do my lips separately as treating the lips can be very painful.

Sending you lots of positive vibes, Leigh. That has to be so hard to go through. Praying for you!
Tomorrow is Grandparents' day. Most people don't even pay any attention to it, but I'm hosting a big party at work. Will be fun. No alcohol thank goodness. Ice cream buffet instead.
I feel for you with your cat issue, Zanna. My dog keeps me awake. I have tried to make her sleep on a dog bed, but she gets up in my bed at night. She is a huge dog and wants to sleep right up against me, and in the middle of the bed. I guess my next thing is to put her in a crate at night. I have a huge crate. I just hate to put her in it. But we can't just go without sleep! I guess when I was drinking I was too passed out to notice.
