Tomorrow is 3 weeks sober for me. I’m checking in for accountability (maybe to myself as much as the forum).

Emotionally I’m completely unstable. I’ve read how the body is all over the place chemically while it heals and I’m trying to remember that but jeez I’m an emotional wreck! My plan is to keep riding this rollercoaster and hope for an end soon.

Thankfully I’ve not had too many cravings to battle. I had one today and practiced urge surfing and it passed pretty quickly.

As always, no matter how I feel, I’m thankful for another sober day.

Thanks for the encouragement. I burst into tears today at work for no reason. Afterwards all I could do was laugh at myself. I’m holding on to the belief that this is all worth it.

i was super emotional/rollercoasterish. It will settle down. I used to cry from really stupid things. Great job on 3 weeks.

Kamm I am right behind you 19 days here. It is an emotional rollercoaster but am proud of you for handling it sober. I have had some serious cravings as well always Friday after work. We can do this hang in there.

Go, Kamm, go ! I can relate to what you are feeling, I'm on day 17 today.

Let's just keep going , just put one foot infront of the other.

Some days I shuffle forward, stooped , looking down. Other days I manage to do it walking upright and even managing to look up and around me.

But Iet's keep walking , one step at a time
