A moment of silence for those sick and suffering
A moment of silence for those sick and suffering
I knew a guy once who frequently referred to himself as an alcoholic. He was young. He drank a lot every single day. He drank in the mornings, he drank before work, he drank in the car. He would start shaking and become irritable if he didn't drink. He didn't eat properly and was malnourished due to drinking. He would buy alcohol for homeless people because he figured it was better than them stealing it or trying to make moonshine. He knew what it was like to be addicted to alcohol. If anyone questioned him on his drinking, he would become angry and shut them down almost immediately. He didn't want to stop.
Yet he knew he was an alcoholic.
I hope maybe you're out there, and maybe you'll read this, and realize that there is a solution. Life doesn't have to be like this.
