Where are you on the curve?
I'm at or beyond the last entry on it (on the right hand side - not the left), but I should be because I have been in recovery for a good while now.
I would characterize my life as the sixth dimension of the spirit referred to in the Big Book.
Not a pink cloud, but a state of (almost) constant gratitude.
FWIW, when it comes to alcohol and drugs, I am not a smart guy at all.
Both the medical and law enforcement communities can substantiate that fact.
But I know where the answers are and I never stop searching for them.

I love this visual!!! I was nearing into the last half on the left and sliding down(moments I never want to relive again EVER!!), and now at almost 9 months sober, I’m sliding back up again, but have a lot of work and recovery ahead of me still. Was really struggling these last few days and weeks, this visual gave me hope for the future!
I have never seen this before. I went through the entire curve twice only to relapse and start all over again. Right now, I am near the bottom.
Very interesting. I will keep referencing this. I am actually usually going back and forth along the curve. Impaired thinking, moral deteriation were present last binge. I compulsively lie when drunk to hide the fact I am literally just a drunk. I don't care. I never needed to lie when I wasn't alcoholic.....
