:grouphug:I’m here because of the kindness of the SR folks. I’ve been hanging around for a year but hiding because I make commitments I don’t keep. I was ready to hide again and said so. The response I got was overwhelmingly supportive to not leave again. No one wanted me to hide until I “was good”. They just wanted me to stay connected, drinking or not. #whyIlovethisgroup
I am trying to learn the ropes of cravings which is for now where I need to be. Such good stuff.

Absolutely no fear or shame here. I have relapsed many times and was amazed by how I felt ok about coming back and starting over. It's been slow progress but I feel I am moving in the right direction. A big part of that was having somewhere, with people who care, to come back to.

We "get" you because we've been there .... no shame in that. What matters is that you reach out to us whenever you want. This place is open 24/7. How awesome is that to know you are never alone!

I'm happy to see that you stayed :) Handling the cravings and changing the way I saw them and what I thought they meant was a great help in the beginning. There's a ton of good advice on here.
