House party
 

I’m going to one of my better half’s clients house party this evening.
Not sure I’m ready after my last experience around my friend getting drunk all day.
Maybe i can practice my socialising skills and do some networking.
Not keen on talking shop when at social gatherings but may as well if I get stuck for conversation ( may get more work in the future from it)

Just a bit worried that I may get a socialising round drunks hangover.

Sometimes I find that having a clear time of when you’re going to leave helps you get through a social situation which you are not keen on. And that leaving early is not a bad thing, think of how fresh you’ll feel in the morning in comparison!

By all means have a little escape plan and a plan to deal with trouble...but I'm sure you'll make it through fine Snowy - have a good night.
