Feeling determined on day 5

Long time reader first time poster wanted to say hello. Day 5 and a Friday thought about having a drink but had sweet tea and sugar cookie instead. Onward I go through the weekend. I have been here before many times so I decided to do something different and join SR and possibly AA meetings I needed a better plan this last time quitting (positive thinking). I have had almost 1 year sober before but the one can't hurt I have changed got me going again. I truly miss that sober time and want and will get it back! So forward I march towards sobriety.

Glad you are back. Sounds like being here as well as adding concrete IRL support to your determination is a good idea.

Welcome and I'm glad you posted.

Making a plan, as you are, is a good idea.

Hello and welcome to SR

Well done for the 5 days.

As you may already know the weekender threads are a good place for weekend support so come along and say hi if you feel like it:

Welcome to the family. :) Five days sober is a good start. I hope you will use the support here, and in real life, to stay sober for good. :)
