Not sure yet what I'll be growing, but probably not any large tomatoes. I get buckets full frpm my dad every season. I would like to grow the little ones tho, and some green and yellow beans, some peas and peppers.

PhoenixJ, I'm sorry about the last minute change of plan, I hope they reschedule.

Glad you're feeling better today Suze.

I have had a change of mind and am now getting an electrician to install some small lights at skirting board level which means getting some holes cut in my adonised "boards" I can get them to do that at work. The kitchen at Saoutchik Towers does not receive much natural light so it might make it look brighter without that harsh unnatural look reflecting off the surfaces. It cannot make it any worse so why not.
These are at floor level? sounds neat. I'd like to see some pictures when it's done.

It's neat to see all of you planning your gardens when I am waiting impatiently for fall. I do want a garden next year though! I've moved to a new house and am planting gardenias and hostas and things like that.
Day three here, I have a massive headache. I think tomorrow will be better.

Made it through my shift and I'm home now, thank goodness.....though the AV really wanted to start a tantrum on the way home, like "What if I don't wanna play the stupid tape through? It's Friday night, I want some wine dammit!"

It's a bit calmer now and I'm gonna go to bed soon....Thanks everyone for being here! I'll meet you all in the morning for coffee

Morning Weekenders, thank you for the wide range of nice pics.

I am positive to make this my 12th sober weekend, AV volente. I have to admit that it’s quite a relief to say that.

Look forward to joining y’all for the rest of the weekend.

Yes, the sort of effect I was aiming for though can be seen top left. My kitchen units are not new so I don't want to spend a fortune on this, if the quote is too pricey I will just install the aluminium "boards" as they are now and put backlighted ones in whenever I get a new kitchen.

Me too Sao it looks nice and helps modernise.
You know you can do amazing cosmetic relooking now to older kitchens for a relatively low budget.

I seen this in the Irish Independent this morning :

Hello friends! It is indeed coffee o'clock

I just saw this and it gave me goosebumps....some of you may have already heard the song "Unforgettable", from the new GS album where they recorded it with middle school students singing backup. This is a clip from a couple nights ago where they performed the song with them live! If you read the caption it mentions one boy named Andrew, who couldn't make it because he's battling leukemia Anyway, here's a link to their Instagram video:

And this is the song in its entirety if you wanna give it a listen (much better sounding when turned up!)
