Relief... and now the work begins
As some of you may know I have my own business, and several things have been coming to a head lately. No excuse for relapsing, but that was at least the context. So today a MAJOR dispute resolved. I have been a basket case over the last three weeks over this.
So it resolved. Not a home run. As when any case settles, it’s can be like kissing your sister. This more in the order of a decent looking cousin. Not as bad but still a bit creepy.
I now have time to focus squarely on my recovery. All decks are cleared. But I am ready for this.

What's the plan?

The plan is detox first. It got that bad. I am meeting in the next few minutes actually with a guy who does outpatient detox.
The IOP, dependent when I detox. And AA.
All of my plans have been sound. I am just not executing. No higher power can do that for me.
A lot of pressure is off me though. And my sponsor knows I relapsed and is still behind me.

Sounds like a workable plan buddy.
A safe detox is essential; I've been there myself.
I've never done IOP but one SMART meeting I go to is at an IOP & the good ones seem to run a good operation.
If you're going to do AA, they say the pudding is in the steps.
All after detox of course.
Stay well.

Just remember, second cousins don't count, especially if you squint! On a serious note, good luck!
