1 year I'm a year sober today. I fought so hard to continue to drink that I had completely lost every sense of myself in the process. Alcohol gave me my voice, my joy, my sadness - it gave me what I thought I needed. When I went to AA this very day last year - I thought my life was over, how wrong could I be! I've been given two lives in one lifetime. So very grateful for everything. If your struggling please hang in there, it does get better. Peace x |
