Need some advice.
I'm still really going through it. I ended up drinking yesterday because the mentall torcher was incredibly too much for me to handle. I was thinking I should go to the, ER to get a some sort of mental relief from all of this. I have no desire to drink whatsoever. Any advice would be appreciated. My anxiety is just way too high.
Wise move Paj! Reaching out for help is the hardest thing to do, but it's the right thing to do and you deserve better for yourself. Do let us know how you get on and best of luck xx
Ask them what facilities are available for a supervised detox iin your area. I did a quick google search and there are many in your area, but the hospital may know more about them.
Most large municipalities and states have public resources for alcohol and drug issue too, here is the link to yours. http://www.daodas.sc.gov

They haven't given me anything. I've talked with the mental health people and have made an appointment with a psychologist. This is why I don't like going to the ER. If at all, this has just made me more anxious. I don't think they're going to let me leave. I'm sort of freaking out
You're in the safest place you could be right now.
The fact that you have an appointment suggests to me to they're not going to try and keep you there - like Scott said they're probably thinking how best to help you

I'm picking a friend up and we're going to a different hospital. I've always had problems with this hospital. A ling time ago I was having DT's and they still wouldn't help me. I had to tell them I was having suicidal thoughts to get them to see me. I can't believe this is happening.
Tell them you are anxious and you can't settle down.
I guess withdrawal must have certain parameters that they have to follow - guidelines.
It's a good thing if they are saying you're not in physical withdrawal.
It may just be that your thinking and your anxiety is causing physical symptoms.
Try some deep breathing. Breathe in to a count of 4 and breathe out to a count of 8.
Repeat for one minute.
It resets the vagus nerve and will settle you down.
Concentrate on the breath.
Only the breath.
