Bimini, max out the resolution on your camera if it's not already.

That might be it!!!! I think it must have gotten set in one of the Apple updates because I used to be able to post larger images. The "HDR" was eXed out.

I wonder if it will cause my storage to be full faster? Meh, who cares. I'll try it.

If my camera worked...

It was kind of spread out, but I'd say a bit smaller than human...and there was fur, grass/plants, and fruit pits in the scat.

In my area are bears (my guess), cougars, deer (nah), dogs, coyote, foxes, maybe wolves, then there are beavers, and other water creatures...it was pretty far from significant water. It's on a horse trail in the suburbs with a lot of forest around.

I swear I saw bear pawprints in some sand/gravel, but they had been disturbed a bit by horses. I'm leaning to that.

Because it's bear week in my world.

With fur in it, I'd say coyote. Bears are eating fruit and veg this time of year.

Good. I *may* stand a chance if I run into a coyote.

I wouldn't say the same with a bear.

They (bears) are all over in the suburbs right now - I know this is their, "Hurry up and add fat," time. They keep getting spotted and trapped. When I worked at the animal rescue, the young ones would be the ones we would get - either because they were separated accidentally from Mom, or injured.

Oh, man....I just found out there's a local "Adopt-a-palooza" this afternoon with over 100 shelter dogs/cats/puppies/kittens....I'm not allowed pets where I live, so I'd just be shooting myself in the foot if I go....I'll see once I'm done with laundry....

Coyotes will run from you.

Black bears are more scared of you than you should be of them. Only mothers with cubs are dangerous.

Grizzlies see us as food.

I know trach, I've heard that before.

I just don't think I would actually have the time to ask it if it had cubs before we both reacted!

Yeah. I worked at the shelter.

That ended when I found myself with the third cat. I did not want a third cat...but stuff happens in shelters that you don't want to know about, and I knew; even the low-kill one where I worked.

And then I quit.

Careful Purps!

I'm down to one cat. Keeping it that way. They live a reeeeeeaaaaallllllly long time.

Thanks....I decided not to go....I already part-own a cat who lives at Mom's house...brat cat...

Plus I know it would be for selfish reasons just to get a '"puppy fix" with no intention to adopt....and I'd be passing by my favorite pub that I used to go to ALL the time....

AV really is starting in, though....

Wait. It's wrong to get a puppy fix?

I guess I have to stop going to the zoo then.

I say go hug a puppy. It releases dopamine.

But no pub.

No no.

I do a lot of things strictly because they make me feel good. I don't see that as being wrong. Plus dogs love the attention. Cats - not so much. Nap interruption!

I thought you were worried about bringing home baby. In that case you could always do like I did and pick up a stuffed bear/puppy. It works.

So, throw your keys and cash on the kitchen counter and tell the AV to go get whatever it wants. Tell it that there's Free Beer Tomorrow!
