You've given us enough words my man, and I've appreciated them all.

Stay strong and keep us in the loop.

No one is coming to save us, but we might just have saved ourselves. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you for this, Buckley. I can relate to everything you’ve said. I’ve recently had my “incident” as well and feel very lucky for even the legal trouble as it is deserved and needed and is so so much better than the alternatives, which I have a hard time thinking about. I return to court for prelim on Friday.
Good luck tomorrow. Thank you again for the perspective that the worst that can happen at court is far better than what could have happened.
Love this post. Will be rereading in the days to come.

You people are awesome. Thank you.

I’m out on work release. Quick update-

I was sentenced to 7 months, 2 months less than what I was expecting. I’ll serve just I’ve 5. Full work release privileges and the judge approved my transfer.

Due to I’ve crowding I’ll likely be on a bracelet, under house arrest, and transferred by next week.

My employer continue to support me in amazing ways. The support and work I put into this combined to make a big difference in the outcome.

I am lucky. I am in good spirits and surrounded by great support.

More when I get transferred.

August 23rd is 6 months sober. I don’t miss a thing about booze.

Best to all-

B

Thanks so much to all. Means the world right now. Apologies for typos, on phone and my thumbs don’t do well at spelling.

Still waiting on the transfer. No surprise, I figured best case would be mid to end this week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

To be honest it was a hard weekend. I’m grateful to be back to work today. Some of the logistics of being far away from my office and clothing are tough. I’m wearing the same clothing I was in court with last Tuesday and worked in Friday. By the time I coordinate getting a change or two I could receive the transfer so nothing to do but wait and be patient.

Frankly those are the least of my concerns. Big picture remains - I’m lucky and this experience is amazing on a certain level. But it’s also very tough mentally... for a lot of reasons that I won’t go into now or maybe ever.

I’m in the toughest part right now. Your support and the support from everyone in my 3D world , well, I just can’t say thanks enough.

Will update later this week. Send positive vibes that a transfer happens. If for some reason it doesn’t it’ll be a whole different level that I have to get my mind around.

Best to all-

B

Buckley - prayers going up that the transfer happens & that you continue to have the great attitude you've held on to. It's an awful ordeal, even though we're grateful it wasn't worse. Been there & understand.

You have all the virtual support in the world here man. You're an actual inspiration to me and many others. Going to get through this like you've gotten through everything else. They can't touch what you have inside.

Stay strong and be in touch with us.

Call just came in. Transfer is happening tomorrow morning at 6:30am.

I don’t have words to express the relief. Everything becomes exponentially easier to manage from here...
