Day 5 Feels Good
 

Well I made it to day five which is almost over. Feeling pretty good. I’ve been to three meetings since Saturday and have my first therapy session Monday. On the down side my parter is barley speaking to me since she found out I had been drinking heavily for a year. Not sure that we will make it.

It sounds like you're taking the necessary steps, SWB. Keep pushing forward.

Good for you! Hang in there. Day 10 is great too. Give your partner time. She may be encouraged as she sees you actively pursue not drinking.

Problem is she saw this before six years ago when I told her I had quit so the trust is gone. I will stay focused and positive though.
