Weekender Thread 26 - 30th July 2018

I'd like to welcome anyone new to SR and new to this thread.

Weekends can be a tough time, and that's what this thread is about - support.

We also share bits and pieces of our lives and the things that are important to us, or make us laugh..anything that makes the journey a little easier

If you've never jumped into a weekender thread before - no time like today...do it now!

Aww  love you too!

And I love that you use the phrase 'awesome sauce', that always reminds me of a good friend of mine who is just as strong and wonderful as you!

Did someone say "jump?"

In for another sober weekend.

Thanks, Dee.

Jeeez bimini, that made me feel all funny in the stomach! Humans are crazy!

In

Always a fan of Churchill quotes.

Doing a quick overnighter this weekend.

Taking kiddos to an amusement park, great deal on admission, hotel and meals. Except because it is last minute the kids have to share a pull out lol. Mr Horsie and I will be sharing the pull out by morning. I couldn't beat the all in one deal. Sneaky the dinner gift card is for a brewery, that is ok, breweries make the best burgers. I can do beef this week. Poor husband, he despises craft beer. He likes MGD. Don't worry, I have no clue what is wrong with him either lol

The last time I was at this amusement park I was wicked hung over. Looking forward to not having a nap at a picnic table. Oh and keeping my greasy, cost way too much and tastes bad lunch down. Drinking a gallon of water and peeing once... I am so looking forward to this trip.

I'll jump on board again this weekend!

Branches 07-25-2018 06:42 PM

I'll do a quick hop on this train also. Thanks for picking me up at the station!

Thanks Venus! I'm really bad at staying hydrated, I'll make a better effort...

Yep me too, I’m in, but there’s no way I’m jumping out of a plane again, once was definitely enough Bim. Yes it was exhilarating, but nope not ever again, WAY too scary for me :scared:

Gilmer 07-26-2018 03:36 AM

Hi, Petals!

Hi, Branches!

STDragon 07-26-2018 04:36 AM

Think I found part of the cure to my grumpiness. I cleared out my 'Music' room so that I had enough space to twirl around in with my arms wide and not worry about hitting anything. (And I did that several times). Then as I was playing my uke, dear daughter walked in and said 'OMG, there is enough room in here to dance!' and she did!
