Hi all

Been a while since I’ve last posted. Wanted to check in.

hello!

Kys 07-25-2018 06:39 AM

Thanks for the messages. Going ok, hitting some hard spots recently and boozing a bit again.

Feeling annoyed about it. Want to make sure I break the negative cycle.

You've been here a long time Kys. I have as well, so please know I'm not judging.

Maybe this time you can make some permanent changes.

Welcome back.

Thanks lessgravity, and yes I hear you. Thanks everyone also.

I go so well and for so long but then sometimes still look for a quick escape, be it due to relationships (despite that on paper I’m in a great romantic relationship right now). Loneliness also (mental loneliness)...

There are so many "reasons" to drink. The best simplest reason not to is that life is better and just gets better and better without.

I'm glad to see you back around Kys - I hope you'll decide to be a non drinker sooner than later - its the only way change will happen :)

Refreshing words as always, thanks team :)

Dropping in here is always a reminder of how long I’ve actually been battling with this, time absolutely flies.

I’m sober these days, but still wrestle at times to make that stick. Re-reading some old posts, am at least thankful to not be back there (and nor do I want to end up back there, can be a slippery slope). Could hardly get the words out back then had so much pent up emotion and conflicting thoughts with drinking... horrible.

Hi, Kys. I wish you all hope and encouragement in your sobriety and I hope you achieve lasting freedom from alcohol. SR is a vital part of my recovery and I visit here at least several times a day--why not come here and post when you feel the urge to drink?

Hi Kys,

How are you today?

Do you have a recovery plan?
