I will never forget....he looked at her, so confused and said: SEAL VOO PLES?

She said "merde" and walked away.
I will say that after laughing at him I helped him.
Whenever I speak to someone - a customer, a waiter, hotel receptionist or railway official - in French they invariably answer me in English which is a little bit demotivating. I suspect I speak French like a barbarian but who can tell?

This car sold a couple of days ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed for £10,100,000. It's a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 Zagato Coupe that was raced by former F1 World Champions Jim Clark and Denny Hulme and is one of the prettiest sports cars ever built. That said I am a bit irritated by the price as it is not really the 1961 car. That has been involved in a total write off no less than three times. Still, I wouldn't say no I suppose.

Sao, that selling price indicates to me that being a write-off does not necessarily mean it's damaged "beyond economical repair"!

you can do a lot of panel beating for £10M!

you'd've hoped they'd do an HPI check at that price though

Did you see the Aston Martin Harry and Megan drove off in after the wedding?
Most females I know would be drooling over the dress, or the whole shebang....not me.....I could not take my eyes off the car.

I may think I'm comfortable in my sobriety, but that didn't stop me from getting anxious about packing up and taking away the booze from uncle's condo. (Yes we are still clearing out, tho at a much more relaxed pace). I didn't want it in my house and wanted to transport it immediately to the inlaws, but they are away for the weekend.

So I was suprized and relieved when we opened the cupboard and found it all gone. We were un-aware that it was promised to someone else and they collected it earlier from the neighbour (who also has a key).

What is it with Aussies? It’s either boozy barbecues or meals at the pub! Another family lunch at the pub today. And I didn’t drink. Thank God for SR xxx

Willow- not poo-pooing the Aussies and booze bit.....but a stereotype....I have had a few counteries with friends and relies..and the hotels also made a big deal of the coffee, more fancy than water-water.
