It's called 11th Step Meditation....I haven't done the steps, but it's a guided meditation followed by discussion if anyone wishes to share. Probably my favorite one to go to, since I like to keep to myself when I attend meetings.

Well Badge, you saw Jurrasic World and we are seeing something a little more tame by going to The Incredibles 2 tomorrow with the kidlets. I am still surprised to see they took this long for a sequel

Healthy and Sober,
I am very sad for you. I think you are saying this is the anniversary of her death? That is so sad. I have a sister I am very close to and I can only imagine the pain. In your despair, think about living life to honor her. What would she have wanted to do if she had more years left. How would she want you to be living your life? I am certain she wants you to carry on and have the life experiences she missed. Think of her watching over you and sending you her strength and love. If she were here, what would she be saying to you right now? Hear those words of comfort and encouragement. Make her proud.

Morning to all the weekenders.

It seems like I missed 10 pages in an afternoon
H&S sorry about your sister. Losing people sucks, cancer sucks. Take care of yourself for her as Liza said.

Later weekenders.

Morning. I am feeling lethargic this morning but maybe that's because i've not had coffee yet. I'm sorry about your sister H&S but I bet she would be pleased that you are making the effort to stop.

ML - I somehow missed your post yesterday. I'm so glad this has clicked for you, even if it hasn't been a very comfortable process! well done one deciding to stay for the extra time too

I had a somewhat similar experience in rehab. I spent the first 10 days or so clammed up & clock-watching through group therapy sessions until I got a right royal b*llocking from the group which snapped me out of it.

I hope you'll be able to take some risks, put yourself out there, & get as much as you can from your remaining time - you're in a safe place & it's a pretty rare opportunity to be able to do that. I know you said you were uncomfortable with some of the other people there, but forget them, you're there to get yourself well & you'll probably never see them again after you leave. I know I got so, so much more from rehab once I stopped fighting it.

take care & keep up the good work
