Its funny, I had a rough couple of weeks (just life things) and was pretty down. And one morning after I had my coffee I convinced myself the reason I thought it was so bad is because my attitude stunk. Attitude is everything. So I turned my frown upside down.
Great thread !
I agree with this too. We all have/had a hell of a lot of demons to deal with. Everybody has demons, insecurities and painful moments from their past.
But you can decide to wallow in misery, become bitter, cynical and negative.
OR; see things as learning curves so you can become stronger, more mature and at peace with yourself and who you are so you can love and respect yourself.
I've met people who are in the first category and they really are unbearable to be around, and energy is contagious so I avoid them as gracefully as possible. I was that person for years, add booze into the mixture and it is not pretty.
I agree with this quote; it takes work, but it also takes work to be unhappy. And I know which one I would prefer
