A Different Path
My heart is breaking...my sweet , supportive Gilmer, I am so, so sorry.
You have always been so kind to me when I have poured my troubles out to you Julyers. You are a wonderful person Gilmer.
I just don’t know what to say, except to tell you are cherished and loved by so many.
I will be praying for you Sweetheart.
Much love,
Croutie

A friend beat impossible odds against cancer more than 5 years ago and is now battling another round with it. Original "life expectancy" was several months.
He's approached it through three-pillars of support: chemo, orthomolecular medicine and spiritually. He gives most of the credit of healing to the spiritual aspect.
Gilmer, I'm glad you're here.
I'm sorry you're going through this.

Thank you guys so much for your counsel and encouragement.
Thank you for divulging your real name, David! Mine is Kathy.
I feel an affinity for you, too, because you’re the wittiest guy on Weekenders! You never fall to bring us a smile!

❤️❤️❤️ you are truly one incredible woman. And much loved by so many. You have changed so many lives for the better, including my own with your positivity, kindness and support. I hope and pray for your recovery from this. But I also know that when your time does come, as it will come for every one of us sooner or later, you will be welcomed and embraced with such loving arms and immeasurable gratitude, for being such an amazing loving inspiration to so many people ❤️❤️❤️
I am keeping my options open (this after I just told someone on another site no way for the existing experimental treatments).
If they have a new idea, I’ll consider it. The only trial so far that would be geographically feasible for me offers nothing beyond the hope for an extra couple of months, with side effects.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dee. It’s still a lot for me to take in, too (even though I’ve been repeating it over and over again all day between here and emails!).
Thank you Willow! What a kind and loving post!

Gilly, I am soory- but you are mandated to report your s-i-l for beard abuse.
When, oh when will the bearded truly have the same rights as baldies? Perhaps the Ghost of Bearded Past was giving him a little, just a little reminder as to the consequences in bearder abuse.
Support to you...as the Floyd says..'Have a cigar'.
