This is for you, Gilmer.
The only thing I can think of to offer is the fighter spirit which sometimes resides in me.
And though I am the one wearing the gloves, You are a true warrior, Gilmer. You can bring light even when there is nothing but darkness.

Thank you guys very, very much. I really love you all too. I really appreciate your gesture of prayer, Sao.
Dee, I will brave the chaotic hell of the local gourmet supermarket just to get some haloumi. Surely squeaky cheese would amuse the grandchildren!

Good morning to all.
Woke up this morning thinking of Gilmer but I reckon I won't be alone there. What a classy lady our Kathy. Hail your name.
There was a thunder and lightning storm here last night and I was sitting out on the porch listening to the rain the bangs and seeing the flashes thinking of you. I wished I had a cigar
05:48 here and I need coffee.
Later weekenders.

I am very grateful for the affection and appreciation (and I reciprocate 100%), but I feel pretty awkward being “hailed! “ I’m nowhere near divine status (or even emperor status)!
Gilmer, first of all, my thoughts are with you and you family. Your positive attitude is amazing and inspiring. I do not know how I would deal with this. My best wishes to you.
Now, if you others can find some and Gilmer if you haven’t devoured yours yet, try that halloumi with some sweet chillie sauce!
